Hi! I am Anima. Mother of two, girl and a boy, and the wife of a nerdy professor. Toby, my dog, makes our family complete. We live in Texas. I like to go hiking with my family. My favorite weekend activity is to work in my backyard. I also am very disciplined about my yoga routine.

Going for long walks in a park is what I enjoy a lot.

I am not a nutritionist or a doctor. I am simply a busy mom trying to inculcate good habits in myself and my kids. We are all creatures of habit. So why not have habits that help us reach our full potential in life. To me, having a smoothie in the morning is a habit that is the first step towards a healthy lifestyle. Smoothie made with seasonal fruits and vegetables, nut milk, yogurt, and seeds fuels the body and mind.

I got inspired to make this blog because I realized how a small change from eating sugared-up cereals to having a smoothie made a difference to my body and mind.

I wanted my kids to have a healthy and energizing breakfast before their long day in school. I found smoothies easy to make and nutritious. My kids loved having these before school. And sometimes, I made these as after-school snacks as well.
